Married 47 Years!

Ok, so it's February 2017 and my husband Sandy and I have been married 47 years! (Congratulations from your DS4J DT!). We were married the day following Valentine's Day to accommodate my friend. She had a wedding to go to on Valentine's Day. On February 15, 1970, Long Island, New York had a blizzard! My friend could come, but it took all day for my relatives to drive there. Of course I wouldn't get married without my Grandma! Eventually we were all assembled in the Rabbi's study and my husband shattered the glass (wrapped light bulb) and we were married. The snow stopped and we had dinner in a Chinese Restaurant.

So I chose Valentine's Day and red for the challenge this month, after all, I celebrate my anniversary for the whole week!
