A warm crafty hi to all our lovely followers here at DigiStamps4Joy.

It is Desíre Fourie here, your host for this month.  I am a true South African and have been born and bred in this beautiful and amazing country of ours. Met my best friend and life partner, at the then University of Port Elizabeth on Valentine’s Day in 1983.  We tied the knot in 1984 and have been married for 32+ years.

I am a qualified PA/Executive Secretary/Bookkeeper, a qualified Freelance Photographer and love Gardening, Mosaicking, Crocheting, Hiking and am a keen Spinner at gym. But, the most important is that I am a Scrapaholic and a committed Scrapbook and Cardmaking Teacher.  I have been teaching scrapbooking and cardmaking since 2002. Nature is my inspiration in life in the words of Richard Jeffries: “The hours when the mind is absorbed by beauty are the only hours we live.”

Can you believe it that November 2017 has crept up on us so quickly this year?  I wonder where the days and weeks disappear to – there must be an island they frequent. Our theme here at Digistamps4Joy is as always Anything Goes and this month there is an optional twist ‘For the Guys’.  Yes, we often neglect the men in our lives when it comes to crafty things. For my centre step card I have used the precoloured image called SPRINGBOK.  This buck is endemic to South Africa.  I have created a little buck family in Photoshop and added a precoloured background image sourced from my Microsoft Greeting Cards computer program.

Hope you will play along with us this month and we can’t wait to see what you all create.
