Welcome to "CHASING RAINBOWS"
the first South African cardmaking Blog Hop 

You are now at the blog of Digistamps4Joy, a unique online South African e-shop.  My name is Margy Kieser and I am the owner and one of the artists of DS4J.

We’re chasing Rainbows this July and the blog hop starts on 10 July 2017 and will close on 20 July 2017 18h00. That’s TEN full days of catching rainbows across our blogs!

Each blog owner has designed and showcased her card along with a quick tutorial on the making of their masterpiece. Some blogs will offer a surprise crafty gift too!

Here is my own card and tutorial on how to merge digital stamps

TUTORIAL: How to merge digital stamps

1. Open a new document in Microsoft WORD
2. INSERT a PICTURE - look for all the images you would like to merge. You will need the PNG file format of each of these, as a PNG file has a transparent background. Add them all to your document page.
3. Click on your first image and change the WRAP to "TIGHT". Do the same with all the other images.
4. Decide which image is at the back. In my case the palm tree is the back image. Resize it to the size you want and place it in the middle of the page.
5. My second image is the parrot. I resized it to a small version then dragged it to the top of the tree. If you see that the image is not 'in front' of the first image, then right click on it and "bring to front". 
6. My little girl image is in front, resized, and positioned where I would like to see her.
7. The last image is the sentiment - also a PNG file, resized and moved to the right of my little scene.
8. You can now select all the images and GROUP them. This will make it easier to keep the scale if you need to resize the scene.

• visit all the the blogs
