A NEW DESIGN TEAM MEMBER FOR DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY

Our DT Call is over and then came the hard work ... sifting through the applications, shortlisting and final selection.

Firstly we'd like to thank each one of the applicants for your interest in serving on our team .. we so wish that we could have a team of 20 because everyone had such awesome talents that Digistamps 4 Joy could certainly benefit by, but sadly, we could choose only one.

Please join us in welcoming the talented designer we selected to join us ...
ALEX

from the United Kingdom

We'll let Alex introduce herself to you:

"I teach art and design, paper craft and sugar craft for Adult Education and a local hobby store in an area of Kent in the UK. My background originally was hair and beauty, I worked in the family business  for ten years, after my first husband passed away from cancer. By that time my mum wanted to retire so I re-trained as a teacher, firstly teaching hair and beauty and then moving to art and design and sugar craft.

I got the crafting bug about three years ago and with my design background I am able to make a small living from teaching.  Cards are my passion along with anything Spellbinders.

In my spare time I help with animal rescue, mainly kittens who have no mum. I married my second husband this year and I have 2 sons, both of whom have left home, and three step children:  twins (a boy and a girl) and another step son,  who all live in Rome.
I have one dog and two cats."

Alex, it sounds as if you will fit perfectly into our team and you are very welcome here!
